Party favors can help to leave a memorable impression on your guests at the end of your party. They are just the thing to add the finishing touch to your special event.
There are many options you can choose from. The important thing is to consider your budget and to tie it to your peacock theme.
Peacock Favor Boxes
One of the easiest party favors you can have is to have a favor box and fill it with candy. The favor box can have a peacock image of some kind and then you can pick what kind of candy you would like it fill it with. You can buy a bulk bag of candy to make it more affordable.
Here are some peacock favor boxes or bags you may want to consider:
This box is from AshleyCaitlinCrafts on Etsy. This is a 2”x2” peacock feather box you can use for your candy. You get a set of 10 of these for about $8.
Zazzle.com has many peacock favor boxes to choose from. Just do a search on “Peacock Favor Boxes” and you will get quite a variety of items to choose from. Some are more geared towards weddings, but you can personalize them for your special occasion, or you can choose to forego any kind of personalization. Make sure that you pay attention to the size so that you have an idea of how large or small the box actually is. At Zazzle, the minimum quantity is 10 boxes. They come flat, and you assemble them yourself.
This tent-style box measures 3″w x 1.5″l x 3.25″h and is from Zazzle. The cost is about $2.70 per box, and the minimum quantity is 10. You can choose the color of the ribbon and if you don’t like this style of box, the pattern can be placed on a variety of other box types.
This is a 2″w x 2″l x 2″h box from Zazzle that costs about $2.15 per box, and the minimum quantity is 10. This box pattern can (also) be placed on a variety of box types.
This gable style box is also from Zazzle. It measures 4″w x 2.5″l x 5″h and is about $2.70 per box with a 10-box minimum. The pattern can also be applied to other box styles.
I really like this one from WaratahLane on Etsy. In this case, you are purchasing a digital download and either printing it yourself or taking it to a printing store. You will need to cut out and assemble the box but instructions are included. The assembled box measures 5” x 2-7/8”x 1” and the cost is a little over $2 for the digital file that you can download instantly.
Filling the Favor Boxes
Now, what to fill the boxes with? There is a large selection of items to choose from. Here are just a few:
- M&M’s
- Skittles
- Dinner Mints
- Individually wrapped Lifesavers
- Hershey’s kisses/miniatures/nuggets
- Trail mix
- Jelly beans
- Taffy
For bulk candy, check on Amazon. They have a M&M’s 56oz XXL size bag. If you belong to Sam’s Club, they have a 62oz M&M’s Pantry Size jar. You can find all of these items either on Amazon or your local store in smaller quantities.
Prepackaged Candy Tins
If you want the work to be done by someone else, then you might want to check out GreatLittleFavorCo on Etsy. They have personalized mint tins that you can fill with a choice of candy. The Etsy listing is for a peacock-themed wedding but with the personalizations, you can put any message on it that you would like. You have a choice of peppermints, Skittles, Jelly Belly’s and M&M’s for the candy.
Printable Labels for Personalized Party Favors
Great Little Favor Co also sells personalized peacock-themed labels and wrappers for things like lip balm, water bottles, wine bottles, Hershey miniatures & nuggets. In addition, they carry peacock themed Hershey kisses stickers, mint tins, and miniature chocolate wrappers. Although, again, these are marketed for weddings, with personalizations you can make it fit any party event you want. Choice of no candy, skittles, M&M’s, peppermints or Jelly Bellys.
Peacock Cookies
Zazzle.com also sells peacock-themed cookies! Who knew! Here is one that is a beautiful chocolate-dipped Oreo cookie. You can choose white chocolate or milk chocolate. Each cookie is 1-7/8″ in diameter and is individually wrapped in a cello bag. They are sold by the dozen and cost about $35 for a dozen. This same design can be placed on brownies, sugar cookies, or shortbread cookies.
Here is another design that is on brownies. They measure 2”x2” if you select square and 3-1/2″x2″ if you select rectangle. Each is individually wrapped in a cello bag. You can personalize the message on the brownie. They are sold by the dozen and cost about $48. Once again, this design can also be placed on chocolate-dipped Oreos, sugar cookies or shortbread cookies.
Peacock Magnets
I found these lovely magnets on Etsy – sold by JLarsons. You get a set of 6 magnets – you choose the size (1”, 1-1/4” or 1-1/2”). Prices run from about $5-$8 for each set of 6.
Peacock Bookmarks
Have you considered peacock bookmarks? This pack of 12 bookmarks by Creanoso is available for a reasonable price on Amazon and would make a useful and beautifully decorative party favor. There are 6 designs, and you receive 2 of each. They measure 7”x2” and have a water-resistant coating on both sides.
Shown above is the Peacock Beaded Bookmark from Peter Pauper Press on Amazon. This bookmark features iridescent gold foil detailing and a round teal bead with speckled patina finish that hangs from a silky blue cord with a tassel. It’s dimensions are 7-1/8” high by 2-1/2” wide. It also features the Emily Dickinson quote, “Hope is the thing with feathers.” This is a bit pricier at around $3 each than the previous bookmarks but it still is a possible option.
Bottle Opener
At Oriental Trading, I found these Gilded Antique Gold Feather Bottle Openers for less than $2.50 each. They are sold by the dozen. This was something that I had never thought about, but it makes a useful and attractive party favor that goes along with the peacock theme.
Peacock Fans
What about a lovely peacock folding fan? I found these at both Walmart.com and Oriental Trading. You get 12 of these fans for less than $1.50 each!
Pocket notepads
This is the Emerald Peacock Pocket Note Pad from Punch Studio. It has some other designs to choose from. It measures 3”x4”, contains 74 color printed sheets, has a magnetic closure, and features gems and gold foil embellishments.
Peacock pens
These beautiful peacock feather pens were found on Etsy, sold by SweetDreamCreations7. You receive 12 pens for about $30 which comes out to about $2.50 per pen.
Some Other ideas

These items might be a bit more expensive but it all depends on your budget and the number of guests at your party. Etsy is always a great place to look for ideas or unique items. Zazzle was the surprise for me! There is a large assortment of peacock-themed images that can be placed on almost anything!
