I thought I would start the year with a selection of peacock journals since this is the beginning of the year, many people are starting the year by making resolutions and setting goals. One thing that people might begin to do is journaling. The start of a new year is a great time to begin. Actually, any time of the year is a good time to start.

Journaling

Journaling is said to have many positive benefits like:

• Reducing stress
• Boosting mood
• Boosts memory and comprehension
• Strengthens immune system

There are many different ways to journal. The important thing is to just start. Dee from Vanilla Papers gives some great tips for beginners.

If you are a peacock lover then you might enjoy seeing some of the many choices there are out there when it comes to choosing a journal. I have listed just a few that I found that I thought you would enjoy like I did.

There are many types out there. There are unlined, lined, dot/bullet, diaries and planners. They come in many different sizes also. Choose a size that is easiest for you. If you want to have your journal with you wherever you go, then a smaller size is probably best for you. If on the other hand, you want a lot more space to write, draw or doodle, then a larger size might be better.

A good idea would be to get a ruler out and make sure you get a good idea of the size of the journal before you purchase one online. I’ve read about people who thought they were getting a bigger or smaller size than what they received. I’m pretty bad at estimating what measurements really look like in real life, so I try to get the ruler out to make sure I truly know what size I’m getting.

Peacock Journals

Peacock notebook journal by BellesAmieDecor on Etsy. I just loved the beautiful image on the front of this journal. I have to say that I think that this one is my favorite. The size is 8.2″ by 5.7″(A5) and contains 100 lined sheets. Has a bookmark ribbon as well as an elastic band.

Divinity Boutique’s God Grant Me Serenity Prayer Peacock Blue Faux Leather Journal. Made of polyurethane faux leather with a peacock blue finish. This listing was a little confusing because the title says it is 8″ by 6″ but the information says it’s  7.5″ by 5.5″. It says it is a composition notebook but it doesn’t look like one from the picture. It doesn’t say how many pages or if it is lined or not. I included it because it was so pretty and I loved the serenity prayer that is on the cover. It also seems to have good ratings, so it might be worth risking it if you like it.

Peacock Journals Volume 9 by Akami Press on Amazon. This is a 6″ by 9″ lined journal with 120 pages. I really like the peacock image on the cover along with the lovely flowers. Each lined page has a short line at the top for a date or title.

The next 6 journals are from the Punch Studio website. They commonly have peacock themed items on their site and these are some of the journals that they have displayed.

Emerald Peacock Brooch Journal by Punch Studio. Has gold foil accents on the cover. Size is 6″ x 8½”. Contains 104 lined colored sheets. Has a magnetic brooch closure which I think is really special.

Emerald Peacock Velvet Journal by Punch Studio. This is unique because it has a soft crushed velvet cover. It also has 100 lined and colored sheets that have gilded edges. The size is 6 1/4″ x 8 3/8″.

Mint Peacock Soft Cover Journal by Punch Studio is a softcover bungee type of journal. This has 100 Full-Colored Lined Sheets, a soft cover with gems, rose gold foil accents and measures 4.5″ by 6.5″.

Peacock Gold Soft Cover Journal by Punch Studio. This is similar to the one above. It has 100 full-colored lined sheets, a soft cover with gems and gold foil accents, an elastic band closure and measures 4.5″ by 6.5″.

Peacock Feathers Soft Cover Journal by Punch Studio. Similar to the 2 above, this journal measures 4.5″ by 6.5″, has 100 full-colored lined sheets, a soft cover with gems and gold foil accents, and an elastic band closure. If you like peacock feather designs, this journal or the one that follows may be for you.

Feather Velvet Journal by Punch Studio. This journal also features the soft crushed velvet cover, 100 full-color lined sheets with gilded edges, and measure 6 1/4″ by 8 3/8″.

Peacock Paisley Journal & Pen Set sold by Willow Glen. This journal has 104 full-color lined sheets and measured 6″ by 8″. As the title says, it comes with a pen which would make it a great choice as a gift for a friend or loved one.

Unlined aqua cloth with peacock feathers journal by Peregrine Arts Bindery on Etsy. This journal is 6″ by 8.5″ and contains 188 unlined sheets and is handmade! 

Polymer clay peacock journal by Canvas Clay on Etsy. This beautifully unique handmade journal measures 4.5″ by 6.5″ and contains blank unlined pages. The number of pages is not mentioned.

Diamond Painting Cover Notebook (Peacock 3) by Adtop on Amazon is a bit different because you get to create the cover by doing diamond painting. It’s a little unclear how exactly this works but it has good reviews and people say that it is fun. The journal itself has 50 pages and is about 5.5″ by 8″ (A5) in size.

Peacock Leather Journals

Premium Leather Journal by Raqi Crafts on Amazon is a lovely turquoise color and features 100 sheets of paper, embossing on the leather on both the front and back and measures 8″ by 6″. It also has 2 cool-looking locks (that you can’t see from this angle).

Leather Journal Diary with Engraved Peacock by S R Mart on Amazon is 5″ by 7″ in size and contain 100 unlined pages. It is handcrafted by Indian artisans. I love the interesting lock on it!

Brown Leather Peacock Journal by KMS Leather Bags on Etsy measures 7″ by 5″ and features the beautiful embossed designs on the front and back. The number of sheets/pages is not mentioned.

Here is another beautiful handmade journal by KMS Leather Bags – Peacock embossed handmade leather journal. It measures 7″ by 5″, contains 100 unlined sheets, and features the peacock design both on the front and back.

Peacock Dot Grid Journals

Peacock Dot Grid Notebook Journal by L.B. Hardin on Amazon has 200 dot grid pages and is 5.5″ by 8.5″. It has a great peacock feather pattern on the cover.

These 4 journals are by Jazzy Journals and Stuff on Amazon. They are all so pretty! They all are Premade Dot Grid Bullet Notebooks which means they come with a pre-filled index, quotes, journal key, and other things already printed on some of the pages. This one is more of a monthly planner. It has 177 pages and measures in at a large 8.5″ by 11″.

Dot Grid Journal by StudioMetzger on Amazon is a large 8.5″ by 11″ and features 108 dot grid pages.

Peacock Diaries

Password lock diary (Peacock 2) by ARRLSDB on Amazon.  Cover size is 8.7 × 5.9 inches. Inner page size 8 x 5.5 inches. Contains 110 sheets/ 220 pages. Has a 3 digit combination lock to keep your writing private.

Password lock diary (Peacock 3) also by ARRLSDB on Amazon. This is by the same company as the above diary and so the information is the same.
